ZubCulture VeSTAGE 2026 is Singapore's first full VTuber-centric community event: a two-day programme covering VTubers, ACG culture, cosplay, gaming, and fan creativity. The line-up includes live-streamed VTuber performances on the main LED screen, fan activities, merchandise booths, and Meet & Greet sessions with virtual talents from Singapore and overseas.
Date: 5-6 September 2026
Time: 10:00-21:00 (both days)
Venue: The Cathay, 2 Handy Rd, Singapore 229233
VeSTAGE is open to everyone: VTuber fans, anime enthusiasts, gamers, cosplayers, collectors, and anyone curious about ACG and subculture communities. The programme caters to both long-time fans and newcomers to the VTuber scene.
Yes. All event content is suitable for a general audience. Children are welcome, though we recommend adult supervision for younger attendees given the expected crowds. Sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory content is prohibited across all booths and performances.
Guest VTubers will be announced in stages. Follow our Instagram and Discord for the latest updates. VeSTAGE 2026 will feature international Guest VTubers appearing in Singapore for the first time, alongside a VTuber Spotlight line-up of up-and-coming independent and local talents.
Yes. General floor access to VeSTAGE 2026 is free. No ticket is required to browse the vendor booths, watch the main broadcast, or attend the VTuber Spotlight sessions. Ticketed Meet & Greet sessions for Guest VTubers are sold separately.
No registration is required for general entry. Tickets for Meet & Greet sessions must be purchased in advance through official channels; walk-in access to those sessions is not available. Complimentary Meet & Greet sessions for VTuber Spotlight talents are subject to on-site queue management.
Meet & Greet tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. The only exception is when the Organiser cancels a ticketed session, in which case a full refund of the ticket price will be issued. No additional compensation beyond the ticket price will be provided.
Tickets will be sold through official channels designated by the Organiser and announced closer to the event date. Please purchase only from officially announced links. The Organiser is not responsible for tickets bought from third-party resellers or unofficial sources.
No. Participating VTubers stream their content remotely from their own location, wherever in the world that may be. The venue receives their stream sources and handles the broadcast and production on the main LED screen for the live audience at The Cathay. This is the standard format for VTuber events worldwide, and it allows international talents to take part without travelling to Singapore.
The venue team manages everything on-site so fans get the full event experience. This includes:
  • Broadcasting VTuber streams on the main LED screen for the live audience
  • Production and technical direction of the programme using sources received from the participating talents
  • Organising and managing Meet & Greet settings so fans can interact with their favourite VTubers
  • Management of merchandise sales and vendor booths
In practice, it runs like a professionally produced live watch party built for the community.
The VTuber Spotlight is an open-registration programme for up-and-coming or independent VTubers looking to perform in front of a live Singapore audience. Selected participants stream remotely from their own location, and their content is broadcast on the main LED screen at the venue. Only 20 slots are available.
Both types stream remotely from their own location. The difference lies in how they are featured:
  • Guest VTubers: Formally invited, with dedicated programme slots, ticketed Meet & Greet sessions, and full promotional support from the Organiser. By invitation only.
  • VTuber Spotlight: Selected through open registration. Participants receive broadcast screen time and complimentary Meet & Greet sessions, but full production support is not guaranteed.
Applications for the VTuber Spotlight are open via the registration form on zubculture.com. Only 20 slots are available, on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration closes 21 August 2026. The participation fee is S$400, with no early bird discount. Agency-affiliated VTubers must obtain all necessary internal approvals before applying; the Organiser is not liable for disputes between a VTuber and their agency.
As all VTubers stream remotely from their own location, they are fully responsible for their own setup. This includes:
  • Streaming equipment: PC, capture card, microphone, and any other hardware needed to go live
  • Live2D model and overlays, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing with the Organiser
  • A stable internet connection: a reliable connection is required. Poor connectivity may affect broadcast quality and could result in forfeiture of the programme slot
Technical specifications for the main LED broadcast screen will be shared with confirmed participants ahead of the event.
*Participants are strongly advised to test their stream setup and internet stability well before their scheduled slot.
VTubers are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection from their streaming location. The Organiser is not liable for disruptions caused by the participant's connectivity issues. Failure to appear or maintain a stable stream within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time may result in forfeiture of the slot without compensation. Participants should have a contingency plan (for example, a mobile data backup) ready.
Important AI-generated content is strictly prohibited across all participation at VeSTAGE 2026. This applies to merchandise, artwork, overlays, and all promotional materials. Items found to contain AI-generated content will be removed immediately and without refund.
Meet & Greet sessions are conducted digitally. Fans interact with VTubers face-to-screen, and the venue sets up and manages the session environment on-site. The event team coordinates the session settings, queuing, and timing so each fan gets time with their chosen talent. It works as a screen-to-screen interaction, similar to how VTubers engage with their community online, but held live at the event.
Ticketed (Guest VTubers): Purchased in advance. One ticket = one person per session. Valid proof of purchase required at the door. Session time per person may be limited to allow fair access for all fans.

Complimentary (VTuber Spotlight): No ticket needed, but subject to on-site queue management and capacity limits. Availability is not guaranteed.
Recording (video or audio) during Meet & Greet sessions is only permitted if expressly allowed by the Organiser or the VTuber participant. Personal, non-commercial photography in general event areas is allowed, but you must obtain consent from individuals, especially cosplayers, before photographing or filming them.
All attendees must be respectful and considerate. The following are strictly prohibited:
  • Harassment, aggressive behaviour, or threats directed at VTubers or event staff
  • Soliciting personal contact details or private social handles not publicly shared by the VTuber
  • Commercial photography or media coverage without prior written approval
  • Any behaviour that disrupts the session for other fans
The Organiser and VTuber participant reserve the right to refuse or terminate any interaction at their sole discretion. No refund will be issued where refusal is due to the ticket holder's conduct.
If the Organiser cancels a ticketed Meet & Greet session due to VTuber unavailability, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, affected ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket price. No additional compensation will be provided. Cancelled complimentary sessions are not subject to any refund.
Applications are open via zubculture.com/boothsignups. Registration closes 21 August 2026. Booth fee is S$350. An early bird discount of 10% is available for registrations made by 24 July 2026; contact the Organiser for details. The Organiser reserves the right to approve, reject, or revoke any application at its sole discretion.
Products and services must relate to VTubers, anime, gaming, or ACG culture. All merchandise and artwork must be submitted for review and approved by the Organiser before the event. The following are strictly prohibited:
  • AI-generated content (no exceptions); items will be removed immediately and without refund
  • Sexually explicit or adult-rated content
  • Counterfeit, pirated, or unlicensed reproductions
  • Unauthorised use of VTuber or third-party IP
  • Hate speech, discriminatory, or violent content

  • Not solicit or distribute materials outside their booth without prior written approval

Yes, cosplay and costume wear is welcome and encouraged. VeSTAGE is a celebration of ACG culture, and attending in costume adds to the atmosphere.
Props made from foam, cardboard, or similar soft materials are permitted. Sharp-edged, dangerous, or functional prop weapons are strictly prohibited. The Organiser and venue management reserve the right to deny entry to anyone carrying prohibited items. If you are unsure whether a prop is allowed, please leave it at home.
Offensive or discriminatory costumes are not permitted. As the event is held in a public mall (The Cathay), costumes must also comply with general public decency standards. The Organiser and venue management reserve the right to deny entry at their sole discretion.
Always ask for consent before photographing or filming a cosplayer. Most cosplayers are happy to pose, but consent is mandatory, both as a matter of community etiquette and under the law. Commercial photography or media coverage requires prior written approval from the Organiser.
The Cathay is located at 2 Handy Road, Singapore 229233, in the Dhoby Ghaut / Mount Sophia area. It is a short walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (CC1/NE6/NS24), which is served by the Circle, North-East, and North-South Lines.
The event spans multiple floors of The Cathay:
  • B1 + Level 1: Main broadcast area, with VTuber streams on the main LED screen, international Guest VTubers, and programming
  • Level 4, Zone A & C: Main vendor booths, including merch, artwork, and accessories
  • Level 4, Zone B: VTuber standees with QR codes linking to their channels
  • Level 2, Zone D: Cosplayer vendors and VTuber-related prop/accessory booths
A detailed floor plan will be released closer to the event date.
The Cathay is a public mall with standard accessibility provisions, including lifts and wheelchair-friendly access. If you have specific accessibility requirements, we recommend contacting The Cathay directly in advance, or reaching out to us at support@zubculture.com.
The Organiser and venue management reserve the right to conduct bag checks. Please factor in additional time at entry if you are arriving during peak hours. Prohibited items, such as sharp prop weapons, will not be permitted into the venue.
