VeSTAGE is open to everyone — VTuber fans, anime enthusiasts, gamers, cosplayers, collectors, and anyone curious about ACG and subculture communities. Whether you're a long-time fan or completely new to the VTuber scene, there's something here for you.
Yes. All event content is curated to be appropriate for a general audience. Children are welcome, though we recommend adult supervision for younger attendees given the crowds. The organisers strictly prohibit sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory content from all booths and performances.
Tickets & Entry
Yes — general floor access to VeSTAGE 2026 is completely free of charge. No ticket is required to browse the vendor booths, watch the main broadcast, or enjoy the VTuber Spotlight sessions. Ticketed Meet & Greet sessions for Guest VTubers are a separate purchase.
No registration is required for general entry. For ticketed Meet & Greet sessions, tickets must be purchased in advance through official channels — walk-in access to those sessions will not be permitted. Complimentary Meet & Greet sessions for VTuber Spotlight talents are subject to on-site queue management.
Meet & Greet tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. The only exception is if the Organiser cancels a ticketed session — in that case, a full refund of the ticket price will be issued. No additional compensation beyond the ticket price will be provided.
Tickets will be sold through official channels designated by the Organiser, announced closer to the event date. Only purchase from officially announced links — the Organiser is not responsible for tickets purchased from third-party resellers or unofficial sources.
VTubers
No — participating VTubers stream their content remotely from their own location, wherever in the world they may be. The event venue receives their stream sources and is responsible for broadcasting and producing the output on the main LED screen for the live audience at The Cathay. This is the standard format for VTuber events globally, allowing international talents to participate without needing to travel to Singapore.
The venue team handles everything on-site so fans can enjoy a full event experience. This includes:
- Broadcasting VTuber streams on the main LED screen for the live audience
- Production and technical direction of the programme using sources received from the participating talents
- Organising and managing Meet & Greet settings so fans can interact with their favourite VTubers
- Management of merchandise sales and vendor booths
The VTuber Spotlight is an open-registration programme for up-and-coming or independent VTubers who want their first stage moment in front of a live Singapore audience. Selected participants stream remotely from their own location, with their content broadcast on the main LED screen at the venue. Only 20 slots are available.
Both types stream remotely from their own location — the difference is in how they are featured:
- Guest VTubers — Formally invited, with dedicated programme slots, ticketed Meet & Greet sessions, and full promotional support from the Organiser. By invitation only.
- VTuber Spotlight — Selected through open registration. Participants receive broadcast screen time and complimentary Meet & Greet sessions, but are not guaranteed full production support.
Applications for the VTuber Spotlight are open via the registration form on zubculture.com. Only 20 slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration closes 31 July 2026. The participation fee is S$400 — no early bird discount applies. Agency-affiliated VTubers must obtain all necessary internal approvals before applying — the Organiser is not liable for disputes between a VTuber and their agency.
Since all VTubers stream remotely from their own location, they are fully responsible for their own setup. This includes:
- Streaming equipment — PC, capture card, microphone, and any hardware needed to go live
- Live2D model and overlays — unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing with the Organiser
- A stable internet connection — a decent, reliable connection is required. Poor connectivity may affect broadcast quality and could result in forfeiture of the programme slot
⚡ Participants are strongly advised to test their stream setup and internet stability well in advance of their scheduled slot.
VTubers are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection from their streaming location. The Organiser is not liable for disruptions caused by the participant's connectivity issues. Failure to appear or maintain a stable stream within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time may result in forfeiture of the slot without compensation. Participants should have a contingency plan (e.g. mobile data backup) ready.
Important AI-generated content is strictly prohibited across all participation at VeSTAGE 2026 — this applies to merchandise, artwork, overlays, and all promotional materials. Items found to contain AI-generated content will be removed immediately and without refund.
Meet & Greet
Meet & Greet sessions are conducted digitally — fans interact with VTubers face-to-screen, with the venue setting up and managing the session environment on-site. The event team coordinates the meeting settings, queuing, and timing so each fan gets their moment with their favourite talent. It's a screen-to-screen connection — just like how VTubers engage with their community online, but live at the event with the energy of the crowd around you.
Ticketed (Guest VTubers): Purchased in advance. One ticket = one person per session. Valid proof of purchase required at the door. Session time per person may be limited to ensure fair access for all fans.
Complimentary (VTuber Spotlight): No ticket needed, but subject to on-site queue management and capacity limits. Availability is not guaranteed.
Complimentary (VTuber Spotlight): No ticket needed, but subject to on-site queue management and capacity limits. Availability is not guaranteed.
Recording (video or audio) during Meet & Greet sessions is only permitted if expressly allowed by the Organiser or the VTuber participant. Personal non-commercial photography in general event areas is allowed, but you must always obtain consent from individuals — especially cosplayers — before photographing or filming them.
All attendees must be respectful and considerate. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, aggressive behaviour, or threats directed at VTubers or event staff
- Soliciting personal contact details or private social handles not publicly shared by the VTuber
- Commercial photography or media coverage without prior written approval
- Any behaviour that disrupts the session for other fans
If the Organiser cancels a ticketed Meet & Greet session — due to VTuber unavailability, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances — affected ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket price. No additional compensation will be provided. Complimentary sessions that are cancelled are not subject to any refund.

Cosplay
Absolutely — cosplay and costume wear is welcome and encouraged! VeSTAGE is a celebration of ACG culture, and showing up in costume adds to the community atmosphere.
Props made from foam, cardboard, or similar soft materials are permitted. Sharp-edged, dangerous, or functional prop weapons are strictly prohibited. The Organiser and venue management reserve the right to deny entry to any individual carrying prohibited items. When in doubt, leave it at home — safety first.
Offensive or discriminatory costumes are not permitted. As the event is held in a public mall (The Cathay), costumes must also comply with general public decency standards. The Organiser and venue management reserve the right to deny entry at their sole discretion.
Always ask for consent before photographing or filming a cosplayer. Most cosplayers are happy to pose for photos, but consent is mandatory — it's a cornerstone of community etiquette and the law. Commercial photography or media coverage requires prior written approval from the Organiser.
Venue & Getting There
The Cathay is located at 2 Handy Road, Singapore 229233, in the Dhoby Ghaut / Mount Sophia area. It's a short walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (CC1/NE6/NS24), which is served by the Circle, North-East, and North-South Lines.
